Hi I’m Jimmi!

I’ve started this blog as a way of showcasing my various hobby projects, including scratch building, modelling, painting, rules designing, tutorials, and general gushing over new cool things.

I’ve been in the hobby for about 6 years now, starting with WH:40K and quickly moving on to other things as the years progressed. I’m currently enjoying Frostgrave, Dreadball, Planetfall, and Warzone Resurrection to name a few. Generally speaking I like games that have a strong narrative and are not too geared towards tournament style play. Characterful models are also a big thing for me, which is why I still like GW models despite the fact that GW make them!

I’m a total perfectionist, and will often spend absolutely ages on one mini trying to get it as good as I can do (which unfortunately is still not as good as I’d like it to be!!), this has had the positive side effect on me that I have absorbed loads of handy tips and information over the years about the hobby. Hopefully I’ll be able to share some of that with you!

Always end on a joke I say, How many tickles does it take to make a squid laugh?
