If you’ve not seen the previous post in this series, I’d urge you to start there 🙂
I’ve spent the last couple of weeks playing with the pitch surface, finding ways to paint on the lines.
I’ve recently got into Bloodbowl, and I’m in the middle of painting up my own bespoke savage orc team – The Green Fist Smackers. Like any self respecting team, they need their own stadium to call home.
Proud to say that as of today, the board has entered the final touches stage!! Huzzah!
The cobblestones are painted, the sewer is.. er minging. There’s snow, there’s revealed concrete!
Here’s what I’ve done:
Sorry it’s been a while – work – you know how it is 🙂
Those of you who have been following my blog will know that I did a post a while back considering how to base the table. I didn’t know whether to try and put down some paving across the entire board, or if I should just texture the board and call it bare earth.
Sorry the volume of posts has dropped a bit – my month long holiday from work ended and I had to return to the office. Sad times I know!
This morning I spent time laying some more cobblestone flooring on my Frostgrave table base. I’ve managed to get 2 of the 4 modular tiles fully laid with cobblestones (unfortunately the big one with the market square is still to come).
Hi all, I’ve been on my holidays so sorry for the week long delay between posts.
I’ve been back a couple of days and I’ve made lots of progress on that first Frostgrave house I was building. This involved rendering (wood filler) the house, chopping it in two so you can see inside, and painting the outside and inside, and applying final details.
My hangover is gone now so I feel much better thank you.
I spent yesterday evening and some of today doing more work to my first house, first and foremost I roofed it using cardboard from an old cereal box. You need to cut this into 3/4″ wide strips the length of your roof.
Pretty darn hung over today. The pub called last night and oh boy did it get messy.
Anyway, stonking hangover permitting, I had a go at building my first house for my Frostgrave board this afternoon.
I’ve gotten so far as finishing the shell – it has four walls and a roof.
